Lace at Belsay Hall, coming soon

Plans are well in hand for our exhibition at Belsay Hall on the 14th and 15th of September.

We will be setting up on the Friday afternoon (13th), with finishing touches early Saturday morning. Volunteers from our group will be on hand to steward the event, demonstrate the making of all types of lace, to talk to visitors about the items on show, and there will be a sales table to help raise funds. Belsay Hall and grounds are open from 10am to 5pm and we hope to see you there!

All group members have been encouraged to share their lace so we hope there will be a wide range of styles and approaches to lacemaking on display.

Lace borrowed for this exhibition will be returned at the September Lace Day unless by other arrangement.
